Not only do we want to make the best "first" impression possible, we strive to build lasting relationships with each and every client. So . . . before you ever sign on the dotted line, we have our homework cut out for us to ensure that the estimate you receive is as accurate as possible. Our goal is to paint a realistic picture for you so that your expectations are met -- and kept within your budget.
Let's Get Acquainted
- Whether by phone or in person, we'll make our introductions to one another. You'll get a feel for who we are and we'll learn a little about you. After all . . . we're not just building structures, we're building relationships.
- You'll tell us about your vision, and we'll tell you a little about how we might be able to turn your vision into reality.
It's All In The Details
- Our Professional Estimator will schedule a personal meeting with you at the site where photos are taken, more detailed information is shared regarding the
scope of work, and details of the project become more clearly understood by
both parties.
- Depending on the scope of work, plans or drawings may be necessary. If not available, drawing plans will need to be considered when estimating the hours required to prepare for the job, as well as to prepare for any permit requirements. It's more difficult to accurately estimate a job without the proper plans.
Your Budget, Our Estimate
- All estimates are based entirely on the specifications agreed to by you, what is required to do the job right, the best quality materials, and according to any and all building code requirements.
- DCI Builders has been blessed with a heavy workload and every project is of equal importance to us. Therefore, the speed of our estimating process depends on our Estimator’s workload and the timeliness of receipt of pricing from subcontractors
and suppliers.
- We often bid on commercial projects that come to us directly from an
Architect on behalf of their customers-schools, banks, city or county
funded projects. These projects require specific bid dates, insurance
requirements, payroll requirements and specifics on products used when
generating the bid. In such cases, we work within the
timelines set by the awarding body.
- Your custom estimate will be sent to you via U.S. Postal Mail. We'll follow up to answer and questions you may have or make any changes you may wish in the scope of the project to better fit your budget.
Signed, Sealed & Scheduled
- Upon receipt of your signed Agreement, your project will be worked into our production schedule, and any adjustments to the time line, details, and/or additional requirements will be scheduled accordingly.
